'Recyclemania' Competition Offers Timely Teaching Moment

Recyclemania continuesAs the Penn College community ends another week of Recyclemania, the Energy Conservation Subcommittee reminds all that this is a great time to clean out some paper files and deposit them in the recycling bins across campus. "It is also a great time to examine your habits," notes Richard C. Taylor, associate professor of plumbing and heating. "Are any of your discarded items able to be recycled?" The college's recycled materials are weighed and counted weekly during the contest, which ends April 13. The competition progress can be followed online .
