An opening reception was held Tuesday evening in The Gallery at Penn College for the latest exhibit “[pause],” a collection of paintings by Brian Bishop on display through Nov. 21. (Two other planned events, an artist’s lecture and a gallery talk, were canceled when inclement weather prevented Bishop from traveling to campus.) Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 2 to 8 p.m.; and Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. All exhibits are free and open to the public. ( Photos by Kenneth L.
