Garis Sleeves embroidered in tribute RAs gather in solidarityIn training for the academic year ahead and in tribute to a late colleague, Penn College's full complement of Resident Assistants gathered in the Student and Administrative Services Center during Friday's start to Welcome Weekend. In addition toseveral days' instruction to prepare them for their 2010-11 duties in college residence halls, the campus leaders are paying tribute through initials that adorn the shirtsleeves of this year's RA team to Tracy A. Garis (left), of Hellertown, an RA who died in a June 4 traffic accident in Luzerne County.
