The Children’s Learning Center, Penn College’s on-campus child-care facility, has woven another of its “quilts,” this one pieced together from favorite children’s songs. The paper squares were sent home with parents, who were asked to decorate them with a song − one that they sing as a family or one that they simply enjoy hearing. The quilt, which includes little-known ditties along with such standards as “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “Puff, the Magic Dragon,” is on display on the first floor of the Bush Campus Center.
