‘QuickBooks’ Classes to Be Offered at North Campus

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus will offer “QuickBooks” accounting-software classes beginning Sept. 22.

The two-level, noncredit computer courses, which will meet from 6 to 9 p.m., allow participants to quickly learn the powerful features of this easy and useful accounting software. QuickBooks is the No. 1 accounting software for those with little bookkeeping knowledge and is particularly helpful to small businesses and organizations.

Participants will learn how to interact effectively with the QuickBooks user interface and will be able to set up a company, create and track accounts, generate invoices, process payments, and process banking functions via the Internet.

The only prerequisite is a basic understanding of the Windows Operating System. Part I will be offered Sept. 22 and Sept. 29; Part II will be offered Oct.13 and Oct. 20. The cost is $99 for each course.

The North Campus is located on Route 6 between Wellsboro and Mansfield. For more information, or to register for the courses, contact the North Campus at (570) 724-7703.
