    Dr. Carol J. Kafer's "Loyal to the 'Sock" newsletter recently was featured in Pennsylvania Environmental Digest. Dr. Kafer is an assistant professor of biology at Penn College and president of the Loyalsock Creek Watershed Association. The association's work also has been featured in "One College Avenue," the College's quarterly magazine; and on "Penn College & You," its monthly public-affairs television series.
