Aviation faculty provided a tour of the center (including the retired Boeing 727 donated by FedEx), and the staff members learned tips for "Surviving and Succeeding at Difficult Conversations" and engaged in S.A.F.E. – Self-Defense Awareness and Familiarization Exchange – with a representative of law enforcement. In an extension of the college's commitment to lifelong learning, full-time employees are required to participate in eight hours of professional development each fiscal year to enrich themselves, their offices/departments, and the institution and its students.
