Preparation Completed at Site of New Building

    Site-preparation work completed for Center for Business & Workforce Development Site-preparation work has been completed, and footers will be dug soon for construction of the Center for Business & Workforce Development on West Fourth Street. The general contractor for the project is Robert Feaster Corp., Northumberland. Construction is expected to continue through May 2007. The one-story facility will house offices for Workforce Development & Continuing Education, the Penn State Center for Continuing & Distance Education at Penn College, the Industrial Modernization Centerand the Williamsport/Lycoming Keystone Innovation Zone. The building will also include laboratories and faculty offices for the college's electronics program.
