In tournament play Saturday at Lock Haven University, the Wildcats defeated club teams from Bloomsburg University and Montclair State University (N.J.), then lost to Harrisburg Area Community College and Penn State Altoona. In a home match Sunday, Penn College lost to Shippensburg University and picked up a forfeit win over Gettysburg College to go to 10-10-1 on the year. The team now awaits a possible at-large bid into the Middle Atlantic Collegiate Volleyball Conference playoffs. "If they go by strength of schedule, an at-large bid is very possible," commented Wildcats coach Wes Strayer. In six seasons, Strayer's Penn College teams have posted a record of 94 wins, 32 losses and one tie.
