Saturday’s second annual charity car show, sponsored by Penn College’s Mu Xi Chapter of Phi Mu Delta fraternity, will result in a $640 contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “I am very pleased with this amount of money we raised as it goes to a great cause,” said chapter President Paul M. Lasell, a plastics and polymer engineering technology student from Williamsport. “The money we collected from the car show will go to benefit many kids in need at the St. Jude Research Hospital. Our chapter worked very hard to put this event together and I couldn’t be happier with the turnout. As this is only our second year putting on the show, I can only imagine the possibilities as the show continues to grow each year.”
