Ernestine Johnson
Ernestine Johnson

The Student Activities Office will host performance poet and actress Ernestine Johnson on Tuesday. Johnson will lead a performance-poetry workshop from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Penn’s Inn (second floor, Bush Campus Center). Participants should bring pen, paper … and an open mind! A 7 p.m. performance will follow. Johnson is known in the spoken-word community for being uncensored and untamed on the microphone, speaking on matters dear to the heart. She has appeared on “The Arsenio Hall Show” and has had the opportunity to play roles in “Think Like A Man Too,” alongside Kevin Hart, and “Where’s The Love?” on UpTV Network. Admission is free and open to the public
