Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestlers wrapped up their regular season over the weekend while the men’s and women’s basketball teams, which close out their seasons with home games on Wednesday and Saturday, went a combined 0-6.
Wrestling
On Saturday at the Rochester Institute of Technology Tiger Duals, Penn College lost to RIT, 48-6; Southern Maine, 44-9; and SUNY Oneonta, 48-12, to end a 7-20 dual match campaign in coach Jamie Miller’s first season. Dylan Otis, of Towanda, ended the day 2-1 for the Wildcats with all of his matches decided by falls. Penn College is idle until Feb. 23-24, when its grapplers compete at the NCAA Division III Southeast Region Championships in Rocky Mount, Virginia, seeking berths for the March 9-10 NCAA Division III Championships in Cleveland.
Men's Basketball
On Thursday, in a road game postponed from one night earlier due to snow, Penn College lost to Wells College in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, 90-54. Robert Young Jr., of Abington, and Erik Perry Jr., of Waldorf, Maryland, each scored 13 points for the Wildcats.
After leading by two points at halftime, Penn College gave up 42 second-half points in a 63-45 NEAC loss at Cazenovia College on Saturday. Young Jr. paced the Wildcats offense with 15 points.
On the road at SUNY Poly on Sunday, Penn College made a game of it during the first half for the second day in a row as it led 27-21 at one point and trailed by just one at the intermission. But after that, the home team took charge en route to an 87-72 win that dropped the Wildcats to 3-20 overall and 2-12 in the conference. Young Jr. again led Penn College scorers with 20 points.

Host Keuka College (10-11 overall, 8-6 NEAC through Sunday), 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Host SUNY Poly (16-7 overall, 8-2 NEAC through Sunday), 1 p.m. Saturday.

Statistically speaking: Young Jr. is 22nd among NEAC scorers with a 13.3 ppg average and Jesse White, of Harrisburg, is eighth in rebounding with an 8.1 per game average.

At Wells College in NEAC action on Thursday, Penn College lost, 63-34. Tori Wolfe, of Dalmatia, led the Wildcats with 16 points and Ericka Lepley, of Lewistown, added 14 points. Penn College was outscored 28-8 in the paint.
On the road Saturday in the conference at Cazenovia College, the Wildcats dropped an 86-62 decision. Wolfe scored 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Penn College while Jane Herman, of Greenville, added 16 points and Cassi Kuhns, of Loyalsock Township, added 14 points and 12 rebounds. Penn College was outscored in the paint, 40-22.
At NEAC North Division-leading SUNY Poly on Sunday, Penn College lost, 62-49, to fall to 2-20 overall and 1-13 in the conference. Wolfe and Herman each scored 13 points for the Wildcats, which were outscored by 20 points in the paint.
