Pennsylvania College of Technology’s women’s basketball team went 0-2 in the only athletic action Christmas week.

In Wednesday’s first round of the CUNY Coaches vs. Cancer at Lehman College in the Bronx, New York, the Wildcats lost to the host team, 69-59.
Penn College outscored Lehman in both the first and fourth quarters but came out on the short end in the middle two periods, including a 22-9 deficit in the third frame. Rachel Teats, of Middleburg, led the Wildcats with 23 points, while Lexi Troup, of Huntingdon, was tops with eight rebounds.
Wrapping up its trip to New York City on Thursday, Penn College shot just 25% from the field (14 of 56) in a 56-36 consolation loss to Neumann University and saw its season record drop to 1-9.
Maddie Adams, of Montoursville, came off the bench to lead the Wildcats with nine points, while Aubrey Stetts, of Jersey Shore, scored eight points. Adams and Lexi Troup each had five rebounds.
This Friday, Penn College hosts Penn State Harrisburg to start a 15-game stretch in United East action.
