Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Web site has won two prestigious awards in The Communicator Awards 2003 Print Media competition.

The College Web site was honored with “Awards of Distinction” in both the “Design/Web Site” and “Web Site/Overall Site” competition categories.

The Communicator Awards is an international competition recognizing outstanding work in the communications field. There were 3,730 entries in the 2003 Print Media Competition.

The entries are judged by industry professionals, who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

The team responsible for the Penn College Web site consists of Judith A. Fink, manager of Web design; Nancy J. Cochran, Web programmer/analyst; Tina M. Miller, Web designer; and Robin D. Carey, Web designer.

“We’re thrilled to receive this award and recognition,” Fink said. “The redesign of the Penn College Web site to embrace the ‘degrees that work’ theme was an amazing experience. This award demonstrates that we achieved our design goal to develop an attractive, comprehensive and easy-to-use Web site that would compare favorably to the best sites in the country. I’m proud to work with such a talented professional team.”
