Penn College Trio Serves on Judging Panel for Regional Emmys

Three employees of Pennsylvania College of Technology recently served as judges for the Pacific Southwest and San Francisco/Northern California chapters of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Emmy Awards.

The Penn College judging panel consisted of Bruce E. Huffman, instructor of media arts/video production; Brad L. Nason, associate professor of broadcast communications; and Thomas F. Speicher, video production developer.

The trio judged the interview/discussion program or special category for the Pacific Southwest chapter and the interview/discussion feature segment category for the San Francisco/Northern California chapter.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences recognizes excellence in television with the Emmy Award for news and documentaries, sports, daytime entertainment, daytime creative arts and entertainment, public and community service, technology and engineering, and business and financial reporting. Regional Emmy Awards are given in 19 regions across the United States.
