Over the past week, two of three Pennsylvania College of Technology winter sports teams picked up victories.



Men's Basketball
On Wednesday at home, Robert Young Jr., of Abington, scored 24 points as Penn College shot 52 percent from the field and got its first North Eastern Athletic Conference win of the season, 77-67, over Cazenovia College. Also for the Wildcats, Spencer Bartron, of Camden, Delaware, scored 16 points; James Bullock, of Philadelphia, added 14 points and 11 rebounds; and Jesse White, of Harrisburg, pulled down 14 boards, 13 on the defensive end.


Saturday at Morrisville State College, the Wildcats lost, 97-72, to drop to 2-14 overall and 1-6 in the conference. Bartron led Penn College with 19 points while Young Jr. and Bullock each scored 14 and Bullock added 11 rebounds.


In North Eastern Athletic Conference action this week: Host Wells College (5-12 overall, 3-5 NEAC through Sunday), 6 p.m. Wednesday. At SUNY Cobleskill (4-12 overall, 1-8 NEAC through Sunday), 1 p.m. Saturday.


Last meeting vs. Wells College: Lost 87-77 Feb. 18.


Last meeting vs. SUNY Cobleskill: Lost 77-52 Dec.


Statistically speaking: Young Jr. is tied for 19th among NEAC scorers with a 13.4-points-per-game average and White is 14th in rebounding with a 7.5-per-game average.

NEAC South Division standings through Sunday: Lancaster Bible College 6-0, Wilson College 4-2, Penn State Abington 3-2, Bryn Athyn College 3-3, Gallaudet University 3-4, College of St. Elizabeth 1-5, Penn State Berks 1-5.


Women's Basketball
At home on Wednesday against Cazenovia College, the Wildcats lost, 76-67. Erika Lepley, of Lewistown, led Penn College with 24 points and 13 rebounds while Cassi Kuhns, of Loyalsock Township, scored 19 points and had 12 rebounds and Wolfe 18 points.


On the road Saturday at Morrisville State College, Penn College fell, 78-51, to drop to 2-13 overall and 1-6 in the NEAC. Tori Wolfe, of Dalmatia, topped Penn College with 16 points while Kuhns had 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.


In North Eastern Athletic Conference action this week: Host Wells College (5-11 overall, 2-4 NEAC through Sunday), 8 p.m. Wednesday. At SUNY Cobleskill (7-10 overall, 2-5 NEAC through Sunday), 3 p.m. Saturday.


Last meeting vs. Wells College: Lost 66-36 Feb. 18.


Last meeting vs. SUNY Cobleskill: Lost 49-34 Dec. 2.


Statistically speaking: Wolfe is tied for 26th among NEAC scorers with 10.9 points per game and Kuhns is 15th in rebounding with 7.3 per game.

Wrestling
In a home triangular on Saturday, Penn College lost to Alfred State College, 35-21, and beat Bergen County Community College, 29-6, to go to 3-16 on the season. Dylan Otis, of Towanda, ended the day 2-0 at 285 for the Wildcats as did Nicholas Bruce, of Troy, at 174. Seniors Bruce and 197-pounder Patrick Ostrowsky, of Lewisburg, were honored prior to the match.
