Approximately 140 students have petitioned to graduate from Pennsylvania College of Technology in summer commencement ceremonies to be held Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport.

The student speaker for the 11 a.m. event will be Susan D. Roberts, Lewisburg, who is enrolled in the Physician Assistant bachelor-degree major in the School of Health Sciences at Penn College.

Degrees and certificates will be presented by Penn College President Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour and Board of Directors’ Chairman Dr. Robert E. Dunham.

Also to be presented are two “Pennsylvania College of Technology Mentorship Awards,” recognizing a business and alumnus making significant or ongoing contributions to the education and development of students.

Susquehanna Communications will broadcast the commencement ceremonies live on local cable Channel 2.
