Penn College Summer Commencement Set for Aug. 7

Nearly 170 students have petitioned to graduate in August from Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Commencement ceremonies will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Community Arts Center, 220 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.

The student speaker for the event will be Eric S. Kroner, Lewisburg, who will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant from the School of Health Sciences.

Mentorship Awards will be presented to an alumnus and a business that have assisted Penn College students and graduates.

Degrees will be conferred by Penn College President Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour, accompanied by Ronna M. Cassotis, vice chair of the Penn College Board of Directors.

The ceremonies will be broadcast live in the Williamsport area on SusCom (the local cable TV provider) Channel 2.
