Penn College, once again included on the list of G.I. Jobs’ “Military Friendly Schools” this year, was represented at Friday’s Veterans & Military Personnel Resource Fair at the Community Arts Center. Sponsored by state Rep. Rick Mirabito (a member of the college’s board of directors), the 9-a.m.-to-2-p.m. event allowed veterans, military personnel and their families to learn about resources and services; a special ceremony was held at 1 to honor veterans and those still in military service. Staffing a table in the Arts Center lobby were (from left in photo) Stephanie A. Dimon, U.S. Air Force, a legal assistant/paralegal major at Penn College and Veterans Affairs Work-Study student in the Financial Aid Office, and Joann Kay, coordinator of veterans affairs at the college.
