Penn College Places Four on PSUAC All-Conference Baseball Squad

The Penn State University Athletic Conference has announced its selections for the 2013 Baseball All-Conference team and four Pennsylvania College of Technology Wildcats earned a spot.

Junior Cody Buterbaugh (Conestoga) and sophomores Travis Hendershot (Muncy) and Zachary Buterbaugh (Conestoga) were named first-team, all-conference, while junior Joshua Longsderff (Columbia) was a second-team selection.  The team is selected based on voting by the conference coaches.



Second baseman Cody Buterbaugh has played in all 40 games for the Wildcats, batting .365 with seven doubles and 28 RBIs.  He has been strong in defense, helping the team pull off 22 double plays this season.

First baseman Hendershot has started in 38 games and leads Penn College with 39 RBIs, a statistic in which he also leads the PSUAC.  He is batting .349 and has put three over the fence this season.

Center fielder Zachary Buterbaugh leads the team in batting with a .366 average in 38 games.  He has racked up 13 doubles with 25 RBIs.

Pitcher Longsderff has been a workhorse for Penn College, making 11 appearances with a team-leading six wins and a 4.84 ERA.  He has racked up 29 strikeouts and has achieved three complete games so far this season.
