Penn College Offers 'Personal Trainer' Certification

Fitness professionals looking to pump up their skills and resumes can enroll in the "Personal Trainer Certification Workshop," being sponsored by Penn College and the National Dance-Exercise Instructor's Training Association.

The nationally recognized workshop will run Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18, in Penn College's Fitness Center and nearby classrooms in the Bush Campus Center. Sessions begin promptly at 8 a.m. each day.

The two-day workshop includes demonstrations and practical application of one-on-one training. NDEITA's expert trainers will cover exercise science, communication skills, exercise programming, health assessments and more. Registration includes a written exam, textbook, two-year personal trainer certification and NDEITA membership.
