Penn College Offers Noncredit Adobe Courses

Eleven courses covering a variety of creative tools in the Adobe family of software applications will be offered by Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology through May.



Mastering Photoshop: Level 1 (6 to 9 p.m., Thursdays, Feb. 6-27) – Learn the most powerful tools of Photoshop.

Mastering Photoshop: Level 2 (6 to 9 p.m., Thursdays, March 6-27) – Continue to learn and get a firm grasp of Photoshop concepts.

Photoshop Elements: Level 1 (6 to 9 p.m., Thursdays, April 3 and 10) – Designed for the hobbyist or novice photographer.

Photoshop Elements: Level 2 (6 to 9 p.m., Thursdays, April 24 and May 1) – Novice photographers are invited to explore advanced features of Elements.

Acrobat Pro: Level 1 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27) – Designed for those with little or no experience using Acrobat Pro who need to create forms and share PDFs.

Adobe Acrobat Pro: Dynamic Forms (9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, March 27) – An introduction to the paperless office, the class is designed to create digital forms.

Illustrator: Level 1 (6 to 9 p.m., Monday and Wednesday, Feb. 10 and 12; or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 5) – This sophisticated graphics program is capable of creating complex and attractive illustrations and type effects.

Illustrator: Level 2 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 22) – Create complex illustrations, manage color, work with graphs, and control how the illustrations will appear in print and on the Web.

InDesign: Level 1 (6 to 9 p.m., Monday and Wednesday, March 3 and 5; or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 15) – Work with tools that help you create eye-catching printed documents.

InDesign: Level 2 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, May 5) – Heighten your knowledge by using the advanced features of InDesign.

Dreamweaver: Level 1 (6 to 9 p.m., Wednesdays, April 9 and 16) – This Web-publishing tool makes it easy to design websites.
