Penn College Men Seek PSUAC Soccer Championship

    The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team will face Penn State Hazleton at 7 p.m. Saturday at University Park for the championship in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

    In a PSUAC semifinal matchThursday, Brendan Kemmerer (Faith Christian Academy), Shane Fuller (Northeastern) and Jochen Stein (Hamburg, Germany) scored goals for Penn College and freshman goalie Tristan Wertman (Warrior Run) made it stand up as the Wildcats reversed the score and outcome of theirprevious match against Penn State Harrisburg to improve to 11-4 and advance to thechampionship.

    Penn State Hazleton takes a 13-2 record into the title match. When the two teams met during the regular season they split, each team winning 3-2.
