The only thing standing in the way of Pennsylvania College of Technology winning its fourth straight men's soccer championship is Penn State York. The two teams will clash for the Penn State University Athletic Conference title at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jeffrey Field in University Park.

Wednesday night, the top-seeded Wildcats (15-1 overall) posted their 15th consecutive win of the season, beating Penn State Hazleton, 3-1.

That same night, second-seeded Penn State York advanced with a 2-0 victory over Penn State Abington.

Against Hazleton, Josh Liples (Montdale) got Penn College on the scoreboard just 30 seconds into the match. Also scoring for the Wildcats were Shane Fuller (York) and Steve Bull (Manheim). Abdullah Al-Bahrani cashed in with two assists.

In a regular-season home match Oct. 10 against Penn State York, Penn College won, 3-0.

"As long as we're ready to play, and we play with energy we move the ball around and do all of the little things that makes Penn College a good team we'll be fine," Wildcats coach Enrique Castillo said going into the semifinals. So far, so good.
