The College won a Silver Paragon Award from NCMPR in the College Video Program category. The award was received for an Information Technology episode of "Penn College & You," the College's public affairs television series that airs in about 2 million homes in Pennsylvania and New York via local cable systems.

The Information Technology episode, which aired last spring, featured interviews with faculty and a visit with a Penn College graduate working as a junior network analyst for the City of Philadelphia. The episode was written and produced by Tom Speicher, the College's broadcast media specialist. Bruce Huffman, videographer/producer for the College, directed, did all the videography and edited the episode.

"It is an honor to be recognized nationally for such a diverse assortment of work, from our television series, to an art poster featuring beautiful aspects of our campus, to general purpose recruitment materials," said Elaine Lambert, director of College Information & Community Relations. "The awards are a tribute to the talents of our College staff who create these products."
