Due to scheduling and travel snafus, Penn College's baseball team will end its season with a doubleheader at Penn State Beaver on Saturday, rather than playing in the four-team Penn State University Athletic Conference Mid-Season Classic. The first game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. with the second following. The Wildcats and Beaver split a doubleheader in the only meeting between the two teams last Saturday. Going into the games, Penn College is 15-6 overall and 7-3 in the PSUAC, tied for first place with Beaver. According to Wildcats coach Chris Howard, this season, rather than a two-division format, all of the conference's teams are lumped into one, and the top four with the best records at the end of the spring season will vie for the championship. "We're sitting pretty good right now," he said.
