It wasn’t pretty and both teams combined for 29 fouls, but, in the end, Penn College came out on top in Thursday’s intramural basketball game against Lycoming College 41-38 in overtime. According to a game summary by Jeremy R. Bottorf, intramural assistant, Penn College trailed by as many as 13 before gathering itself and chipping away at the lead. Jordan Kilbourn led the Wildcats with 13 points, including a key 3-point play in overtime, and Ty Holland added 6 points and hit some key foul shots in overtime. Ray Kanapesky had 6 points; Keith Woznisky, 5; and Ben Vincent, 4. Brandon Sauers and Josh Bengel each chipped in with 3 points, and Asiell Gonzalez added 1 point and had several key assists. “Gavin Mock also handled the ball well with some pretty passing” Bottorf said, “freeing up the big men down low.”
