College re-entering RecyclemaniaThis spring, Penn College Residence Life again will participate in a national recycling competition with colleges and universities throughout the country to see who can collect the most recyclables per person. This year's competition will take place from Jan. 18-March 28 and measure the recyclables produced by all parts of campus. This is the second year that Residence Life has entered the competition. At the same time that Penn College is competing with other colleges and universities, a friendly competition among residence halls will occur. Last year, College West emerged as the residence-hall recycling champion. More information on Recyclemania can be viewed online . Leading the student efforts of Penn College's re-entry into Recyclemania is the "Green Team," a committee that functions as part of the Residence Hall Association. Heading the team are students Bradley Schmidt and Tiffany James. The "Green Team" always is looking for members and volunteers. If interested, contact Schmidtor James.
