Paper Selected for Inclusion in Teaching Conference Journal

A paper by a member of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s business administration faculty was accepted for publication in “Selected Papers From the 24th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning.”

Gerald D. “Chip” Baumgardner, associate professor of business administration, was among more than 150 faculty presenters at the conference, held in April in Jacksonville, Fla. His paper, titled “Using Simulations for Learning and Assessment,” was selected as one of the 10 best of the conference, and will be included in the journal.



Gerald D. “Chip” BaumgardnerThe International Conference on Teaching and Learning is sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at Florida State College at Jacksonville. The conference features recognized educational leaders in diverse areas of teaching, learning and technology.

Baumgardner holds a doctorate from George Mason University, master’s degrees from The Pennsylvania State University and Shippensburg University, and a bachelor’s degree from Penn State.
