One College Avenue Garners Award for Excellence

“One College Avenue,” Pennsylvania College of Technology’s quarterly magazine, has been recognized with an Award for Publication Excellence in a national competition among communications professionals.

The publication joined APEX ’99 winners selected by Communications Concepts, Inc., a trade group of marketing specialists, and was among the 631 entries in the Magazines and Journals category. This was the 11th year for the competition.

A letter to Elaine J. Lambert, director of college information and community relations, noted the award is based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the magazine in achieving overall communications effectiveness.

Penn College publications have been APEX recipients in past years, including a Grand Award in 1997.
