Northern Tier Business Adventure Postponed Until April 2006

The Northern Tier Business Adventure hosted by Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro has been postponed until April 2006.
The NTBA, a four-day residential program for freshman and sophomore high-school students from the Northern Tier, provides an exciting opportunity for participants to learn about the world of business and possible careers in the region.
The NTBA programs are delivered in partnership with the Foundation for Free Enterprise Education and are a mini-version of the Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week held each summer at Lycoming College in Williamsport.
Each student attends the four-day event courtesy of a scholarship provided by a regional business, foundation or community organization. Businesses and other organizations in the region can play an important role in a young person?s successful future by sponsoring one or more students. The NTBA program is qualified for Educational Improvement Tax Credits, and all contributions are tax-deductible. The Foundation for Free Enterprise Education will assist in the process for businesses interested in applying for tax credit.
The third NTBA is scheduled for April 22-25, 2006. Students will be housed at the Penn Wells Hotel and transported to the North Campus for daily activities centered on motivation, teamwork, creativity, competition and socializing.
