North Campus to Offer Desktop Publishing Class

    Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro will offer a beginner's Microsoft Office Desktop Publishing class on Nov. 10 and Nov. 17.

    The class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, and again on Thursday, Nov. 17.

    Participants will use Microsoft Word to design memos, fliers, letterhead, brochures, certificates and newsletters. The hands-on class will help participants develop skills to use the personal computer as a print shop, enabling those in small businesses, family farms, churches and civic organizations to publish brochures and newsletters with ease. The class will be relaxed and informative. The cost for the class is $99.

    The North Campus is located just east of Wellsboro on Route 6.
