An “Introduction to Personal Computing” course will be offered at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus on Sept. 23 and Sept. 30.
The noncredit course, which will meet from 6 to 9 p.m., is open to those who are not comfortable using a personal computer. The relaxed classroom environment coupled with the small class size makes this an exciting opportunity to learn, experiment and ask questions without embarrassment.
Highly skilled instructors maintain a comfortable pace and present the most relevant material for participants. Students will learn basic computer concepts and essential skills for the effective use of a personal computer at home or on the job.
Topics include the parts of a computer, the memory process, the purpose of storage devices, software, common Windows techniques and file-management concepts.
The cost for the course is $99. The North Campus is located on Route 6 between Wellsboro and Mansfield.
For more information, or to register, contact the North Campus at (570) 724-7703.
