North Campus to Host Financial-Aid Program March 29

Those interested in learning more about the options available for funding college costs can meet with financial-aid specialists on Thursday, March 29, at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus near Wellsboro.

Donald Shade, regional coordinator for the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, will speak at 6 p.m. in the North Campus Commons. Following that presentation, a general-information session on entering college will be offered, and details will be provided about the local scholarships available to assist Penn College students. A question-and-answer session will follow, and refreshments will be served. The session will end by 8 p.m.

To register or receive more information, call the North Campus at (570) 724-7703, ext. 3701, and ask for Linda Cheyney. Those unable to attend the program may also call the North Campus for information on starting college or receiving financial aid and scholarships.

Penn College’s North Campus provides a wide range of credit classes and workforce and professional-development services to residents and employers in Bradford, Potter and Tioga counties. The campus is located on Route 6 between Wellsboro and Mansfield.
