Nine Karate Club Members Attain Rankings at Weekend Event

The Penn College Shotokan Karate Club ran a successful belt promotion on campus this past weekend. Nine students from the club, along with members from Lycoming College, Bucknell University and (State College) Shotokan, demonstrated their skills and achieved belt rankings:

  • Yellow – Jonathan P. Bailey and Emmanuel C. Nwosu
  • Orange – Leo J. Ravina
  • Green – Kody R. Dibble, Destiny R. Barto and Jason S. Murphy
  • Purple – John B. Preine and Stephanie C. Myers

Carlos A. Ramos-Sonera earned first kyu black belt, putting him in position to test for black belt.
