Nine high school seniors from Tioga County recently completed the nursing assistant program at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus and subsequently passed the American Red Cross Competency Exam for certification as Certified Nurse Assistants.

The nine students have been attending nursing assistant classes since January. Classes and clinical experiences were held every Thursday to complete the 112-hour curriculum. Clinical experiences were completed at The Green Home, Wellsboro, with Paula Davis, registered nurse, serving as instructor.
