New Program 'Instantly' Puts Campus in Touch With Library Reference Desk

    The Penn College Library is conducting a pilot project for Spring 2006 utilizing AOL Instant Messenger service that enables you to chat online with a librarian to get immediate assistance with your reference and research questions.

    This service is available to Penn College students, faculty and staff, as well as those who have questions related to the college or the library's collections.

    To use this service, you must have an AIM account or an account with an instant-messaging client to contact the library via IM. You can register for a free account and screen name at the AOL Instant Messanger Web site.
