A total of 37 pints of blood were collected by the American Red Cross during Tuesday’s visit to Penn’s Inn, down somewhat due to a summer dip in student enrollment, but – because each unit potentially saves three lives – a beneficial turnout nonetheless. In addition to pizza and other treats, three donors won $25 Sheetz gift cards: Michael Hersh, Duane Keefer and Heidi Russell. The next campus Bloodmobile, a return to the two-day format, will be held Sept. 3-4.
