Nearly 3,000 ‘Pack the Park’ for College Night

Moyer, of Perkasie, a business administration: marketing major - and Student Government Association vice president of finance - throws the ceremonial first pitch An official attendance of 2,894 fans were in the stands of Historic Bowman Field for Thursday’s Penn College “Pack the Park Night.” The Crosscutters, Williamsport’s own minor league baseball team and affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, delivered a 5-1 victory over the Jamestown Jammers. “Pack the Park Night” − part of College Town Week with Lycoming College and Newport Business Institute − was sponsored by the Office of the President, Alumni Relations and Student Activities.
