More than 70 employers have registered for Fall Career Expo, a major networking event for job-seeking students, scheduled for 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21,at the Field House.

The list of registered employers and the majors for which they are recruiting (including co-ops and internships for next summer) is available here.

Students should bring their College identification cards to this year's Expo, as Counseling and Career Services has streamlined the check-in procedure to a single "swipe" of student IDs.

Attendees will be given a booklet of employer information and recruiter names, along with a map showing where those employers are located on the Field House floor. Students should bring multiple copies of their resumes and be ready to talk with employers.

In the current competitive job market, it only makes sense that students should choose to interact with employers who come to campus to recruit for full-time positions and cooperative-education experiences. So students, please plan to attend.

However, keep in mind that not all employers use the Career Expo as their recruiting format. Some choose to recruit by scheduling on-campus interviews through the Office of Counseling and Career Services. To be sure that you don't miss out on any on-campus interviews, check your e-mails regularly and access your eRecruiting account (or open an eRecruiting account if you don't already have one).
