More Than 150 Area Children to Benefit From 'Giving Tree' Donations

Children and Youth Services annually compiles a list of children from underprivileged families in Lycoming and Clinton counties that would appreciate gifts from the Penn College community. This year, Student Activitieswas given the names of more than 150 children, and the response was overwhelming. Toys, clothing, art supplies, sporting equipment and music for children ages 1 month to 17 years oldwere collected. Each year, the agency is amazed by the generosity of the college community. This year certainly was no different; four trips were required to get the presents to the Office of Children and Youth! Thank you to all who participated in this wonderful tradition, making the holiday season a little happier for a child in our community.
