'Mobile' Second-Graders Visit Gallery in College Library

Smith, library support services assistant, reads Second-graders design mobiles in The Gallery at Penn CollegeSecond-graders from St. John Neumann Regional Academy visited The Gallery at Penn College on June 4. The students explored the gallery's current exhibit, which features artwork from K-12 art teachers in the region, including the academy's own Barbara Greenway; listened to "Sandy's Circus," a book about artist Alexander Calder, the inventor of mobiles, read by Blair E. Smith, library support services assistant; and designed mobiles of their own.
