Medical Terminology Class Added to North Campus Offerings

    Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus, located just east of Wellsboro on Route 6, will offer a beginning medical terminology class for those who are interested in developing the ability to read and understand the language of medicine.

    The course will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, from Oct. 4 to Nov. 8.

    Knowledge of medical terminology is useful for those entering employment in the medical field, for those engaged in the art of healing and for those desiring a personal knowledge of medical terms. The instructor is Kim Johnson, a flight nurse with many years of medical and teaching experience.

    The cost is $150, and a certificate of completion will be given at the end of the course. For more information, or to register, contact the North Campus at (570) 724-7703.
