Mayor Campana Reads to Youngsters at Children's Learning Center

Williamsport Mayor Gabriel J. Campana visited Penn College's Children's Learning Center on Monday as part of the Week of the Young Child activities planned by the Lycoming County Community Engagement Group. Guests were invited to local preschool programs to read a story to the children; this year's "One Book, Every Young Child" is "Up, Down, and Around," about planting a garden and watching the vegetables grow. The mayor read to the Bear Bunch and Bird's Nest groups, then gave a copy of the book to each of the children before returning to City Hall.
