Continuing to train and excel in the collegiate ranks, six Penn College Martial Arts Club team members joined students from other area institutions for a belt-promotion program at Lycoming College on Saturday. Penn College students and their karate-practicing colleagues from Lycoming, Bucknell University and The Pennsylvania State University punched and kicked their way to new levels of expertise. Anthony Rosario and Nnenna K. Uguru were awarded yellow belts after their first promotion exam, while Jonell A. Murray received an orange-belt ranking in his first test. Alexander J. Hilton and Jeremy P. Hansen moved from yellow to orange belt, and Jonathan E. Harris achieved purple-belt status.
