Barb Jarmoska, of Freshlife, and Michelle A. Briggs, an assistant professor of biology at Lycoming College, discussed the medicinal properties (and occasional deadly consequences) of herbs that figure in J.K. Rowling's phenomenally successful books and the films based upon them. The session was part of the "Harry Potter's World" exhibit, through March 26 at the library.
