Madigan Librarians Spread Word About Podcast Tour

Madigan librarians make presentation at state conference Two Penn College librarians gave a presentation during the Pennsylvania Library Association’s annual conference, held Oct. 14-17 at The Penn Stater Conference Center. Georgia R. Laudenslager (at left in photo) and Tracey Amey delivered a “poster session” about an audio tour of the new Madigan Library that is available via podcast. The self-paced, guided learning tour is accessible online; it also is pre-loaded on iPods at the library. The session illustrated the purpose and goal of the project, the technology used, method and timeline, and a list of ideas for future podcasts.
