Mack Trucks Inc. Donates Transmissions to ESC

Mark E. Sones, instructor of diesel equipment technology, was able to secure the generous donations from Mack Trucks’ Macungie facility when he heard they were available. Mack is a longtime supporter of the diesel equipment technology program at Penn College. “Mack Trucks Inc. is always happy when we can support educational facilities with our donations of engines and components,” said Heather Klement, communications assistant for Mack Trucks Inc. in Allentown, The transmissions will benefit diesel students by providing additional hands-on opportunities in their Allison Transmissions and Diesel Power Train and Brake Systems labs.
