Lycoming County United Way Seeks Penn College Volunteers

The “Day of Caring”is the highlight of the annual LycomingCounty United Way campaign. It’s an opportunity for volunteers to show their concern for others through community service.

The 2004event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. In previous years, Penn College employees and students have participated inwork assignments like gardening, painting, landscaping and general fix-up projects.

The Penn College community is invited to participate once again in this very important endeavor. Please consider sharing a day of your time with those agencies in the communitythat need assistance.

To volunteer, contact Marcia Campbell in the Financial Aid Office by Friday, Sept. 3.
