Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley was among those attending a gathering of the Governor’s Marcellus Shale Advisory Commission on Penn College’s main campus Tuesday evening. The lieutenant governor chairs the commission, which assembled in the Thompson Professional Development Center for dinner, panel presentation, question-and-answer session and group discussion. Among its tasks are addressing the needs and impact of natural gas development on local communities; the group is to report its findings to Gov. Tom Corbett next month.
